Holiday Closing Schedule

All branches of the Madison County Library System will be closed on the following days.

January
New Year's Day - 1st Day
Robert E. Lee/Martin Luther King - 3rd Monday

February
Presidents' Day - 3rd Monday

May
National Memorial Day/Jefferson Davis' Birthday - Last Monday

July
Independence Day (July 4th) - 4th Day

September
Labor Day - 1st Monday

November
Armistice Day (Veteran's Day) - 11th day
All branches close at Noon the day prior to Thanksgiving Holiday
Thanksgiving Day - date as proclaimed by the Governor of Mississippi in accordance with the President of the United States

December
All branches close at Noon the day prior to the Christmas Holiday
Christmas Day - 25th

As well as any dates fixed by proclamation of the Governor of Mississippi.
